Tuesday August 24, 1999...
I remember it like it was yesterday, my first day of work at Sears. A young lad fresh out of school, about to go through a crash course on the sears way of doing things. The last 5 and half years I have worked on many projects and initiatives. Below is a list of some of my highlights.
1999
- Joined Sears on August 24 th
- Helped launch the Major Appliance Website
2000
- Officially Joined the Major Appliance team in January as a Marketing MBA
- Joined the ECommerce Team in October as a coordinator
2001

Awarded “above and beyond” for acting quickly and removing a vacuum cleaner from the website when it was priced at $7 (pricing error - Saved the company $$$)
2002

Took over the Management of Eatons.com website in January until it shut down in June (created html, graphics & sometimes marketing content)
2003
- Worked on the May sears.ca relaunch, I Created the customer service section on the site.
- Came into work during the day of the " big blackout " to continue working on a implementation that was started the day before.
- Began to manage the day to day operations of the site
2004

Implemented the sears homepage on a weekly basis throughout the year (between the hours of 12am – 3am on weekends, my own personal time)
- Implemented the Clinique Syndication module (clinique merchandise is sold exclusively in Canada on sears.ca
